Meet Laura - your certified Birth Doula

I believe birth is more than a medical event – it is a profound life experience that deserves respect, safety, and empowerment. I believe every woman, regardless of color, background, or story, has the right to feel safe, seen and heard during her birth. My vision is a world where women show up for each other, united in strength and care, transforming how we experience one of life’s most powerful moments.

My own path has been far from traditional. I grew up in Germany and spent over 15 years in the fashion industry, a world of creativity, elegance, and expression. While I loved the artistry, I eventually realized something was missing. The deeper call to support women – not just in how they look, but in how they live, birth, and rise – became impossible to ignore. That is when I found my true calling as a doula.

Today -living in North Carolina, USA- I bring this passion, presence, and perspective into my work as the founder of babe you birth. My approach is inclusive, open, and grounded: a blend of evidence-based knowledge, genuine care, and a belief in women’s rights to self-determined birth.

As a military wife, I understand the unique challenges and transitions that come with this life. And as a German living in the U.S., I am proud to also support families in both English and German. But my heart and my hands are open to all women, because birth knows no borders.

I believe in a future where birth is not rushed or silenced, but honored. I believe in the power of women supporting women. And I believe that when you feel safe, respected and empowered in your birth, it shapes not only your story, but the future world we are creating together.
